Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 September 2026
1. The service
DopeResume is a browser-based resume editor operated from the United States. You can write, preview and edit resumes free of charge. Downloading a finished resume (PDF or DOCX) requires a paid download pass.
2. No accounts
We do not offer user accounts. Your resume content is stored in your own browser (local storage) and is not uploaded to our servers unless you use the import or AI features, which send the relevant text to our servers and, for AI, to a third-party model provider to produce a response. We do not retain that text after the response is returned.
3. Download pass
A download pass is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited PDF and DOCX downloads in this browser for the number of days shown at checkout (currently 7). The pass is tied to the payment, not to a person; you can restore it on another device with the payment ID from your receipt for as long as it is valid. Passes are not subscriptions and do not renew.
4. Your content
You own everything you type into DopeResume. You are responsible for its accuracy. AI suggestions are drafts — review them before you send a resume anywhere.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory or fraudulent, or to overload the service with automated requests. We may rate-limit or block abusive traffic.
6. Availability and liability
The service is provided as is. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for your most recent download pass.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
