Scholar uses a single column that reads top to bottom, with a large name in the accent color and contact details on one line with small icons in a left-aligned header.
Typography is Merriweather for the name and headings with Source Sans for the text — serif headings over a sans body, a mix that looks editorial without feeling old-fashioned. Sections use section titles marked by a short accent bar, set in spaced capitals, and each entry shows dates right-aligned on each entry with round bullets.
Skills appear as as small pills. The default accent is #1E3A5F; 8 presets are one click away and any color can be typed in, and fonts, spacing and margins are adjustable after you pick it.
