1. Focus on Achievements, Not Just Duties

Avoid simply listing your job responsibilities. Instead, focus on achievements and measurable impact. For example, instead of "Managed the customer support inbox," write "Handled 150+ support queries daily, improving client satisfaction rate by 22%."

2. Quantify Your Results

Numbers tell stories. Always include metrics like percentages, revenue values, team counts, or time saved. Recruiter eyes are naturally drawn to digits (e.g. $50K, 30%, 4 months) as they provide tangible proof of your abilities.

3. Optimize for ATS Keywords

Most modern corporate systems use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to filter applications. Carefully read the job description and weave core industry keywords into your summary, experience list, and skills segments.

4. Tailor Your Summary Segment

Keep your professional summary to 3-4 lines max. It should be a compact elevator pitch highlighting who you are, your top accomplishment, and exactly what core values you offer to the hiring company.

5. Keep Formatting Clean & Standard

Avoid custom graphic layouts, star ratings for skill levels, or floating texts inside images. These confuse ATS parsers. Rely on clear single-column or standard double-column structures with distinct section dividers.
